Bets Dressed - Week 12 - Thursday Night Football Uniform Matchup and Player Props

Welcome to Week 12 - where I’m sensing some trap games. And it starts with Mr. Unlimited going to Cleveland. Jameis is strong when his opponent has a habit of playing to its competition. So he’s strong then.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Unlimited Strength Bowl!

A quick note on methodology.

As always, I’m analyzing every NFL uniform matchup and picking a winner against the spread based on which team dresses best. And just because a team is ranked higher in the Uniform Wardrobe Power Rankings doesn’t mean it will automatically win the uniform matchup. It’s what you wear in the instant matchup that counts.

Looking back at Week 11.

One of the best aesthetic weeks of the year delivered. 9-5 to bring us to 81-84-1 on the season.

Thursday Night Football Uniform Matchup and Best NFL Uniform Matchup of Week 12.

Steelers at Browns. Saving the best for first. Didn’t reward this matchup* with the weekly top spot last year and have regretted it ever since. Righting the wrong and showing love once again to the best dressed division in football.

As referenced above, this has all the makings of a trap game. Steelers riding high after two marquee wins. Browns dead in the water with little hope for the future. But short weeks and divisional games are great equalizers. At the end of the day, none of that really matters for our over purposes. These teams are more defense than offense. But Russ and Jameis can both let the deep ball fly. With a total this low, a couple of bombs could be all we need.

*Yellow and orange pants can sometimes give off dueling highlighter vibes, but the pop of color outweighs the touch of vibrant clash.

The Pick: Over 37

Club SDR - Week 12 Player Props.

Another Week 11 positive development. 2-1 to bring us to 15-17-1.

Josh Downs - Over 58.5 Receiving Yards

As dominant as the Lions have been, they can be had through the air - giving up the fourth most yards to opposing wide receivers. Downs has cleared the number in four straight - averaging 81 yards. Let’s do it again.

James Conner - Over 70.5 Rushing Yards

Cardinals are Top 5 in rushing yards per game. And the Seahawks are Bottom 5 in rushing yards allowed per game. Match made in prop heaven.

Kenneth Walker - Over 64.5 Rushing Yards

Walker has cleared this number every time he’s played the Cardinals - averaging 97 yards per game. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
